Google ESP
Last year I blogged about the ESP Game from Carnegie Mellon University. Now Google has licensed the technology behind the ESP Game to come up with the Google Image Labeler.
The main difference that I noticed is the lack of off-limit words. Otherwise, it's very similar to the original. It's fun, and I think it's cool that you earn points for playing. I think it would be cooler if you could do something with those points. Like maybe redeem them for cash to use for Adwords, or maybe buy stuff in the Google Store. You hear me, Google? I will gladly tag 10,000 images for you if you'll let me redeem my points for a Google 'O' alarm clock or a Google travel mug. Or a GoogleFrisbee Skyspinner set! How about a Google Blinkie Pin if I trade in 50,000 points? Or 150,000 points for a Google USB drive. Come on, Goog! Gimme some schwag!
